Prevention first, always

Great dental health is the foundation of a great smile. The most expensive dentistry is usually the dentistry that wasn't done sooner. Our approach is to spot issues early, treat them conservatively, and help you maintain your teeth for life.

Every appointment uses digital diagnostics: digital x-rays, intraoral photography, and magnification at the chair. We show you what we see so you can make informed decisions about your own teeth.

  • Comprehensive examinations digital x-rays, intraoral photos, oral cancer screening at every check-up
  • Hygiene therapy scale and polish, gum care, personalised home-care advice
  • Restorative care white fillings, root canal treatment, crowns, using the most premium materials
  • Conservative treatment we do the minimum necessary to achieve the best long-term outcome
  • Time to talk things through unhurried appointments, clear explanations, no pressure

Why hygiene matters

Hygiene is the quiet half of dentistry. Most dental problems start before you notice them, and most are preventable. Twice-yearly hygiene appointments are the single most cost-effective thing you can do for your teeth.

Prevention beats treatment

A 30-minute hygiene appointment costs a fraction of a filling, and a small filling costs a fraction of a root canal. Catching problems early keeps treatment simple, comfortable, and affordable.

Cleaner than you can manage at home

Hygienists remove the tartar that brushing and flossing can't shift, especially below the gum line. This is where gum disease starts. A professional clean keeps your gums healthy in a way home care alone cannot.

Eyes on your mouth, twice a year

Hygiene appointments are also early-warning systems. Our hygienists spot changes (new sensitivity, early decay, gum recession, signs of grinding) before they become bigger issues you can feel.

Hygiene appointments are £89 for 30 minutes. You can book directly with a hygienist without seeing a dentist first.

Meet the people keeping your smile healthy

Our hygienists work alongside the dentists to keep your gums healthy and your teeth clean between appointments.

Private dentistry, made accessible

360 is a fully private practice. We don't take NHS patients. That choice is what lets us give every appointment the time it actually needs, use the materials we believe deliver the best long-term results, and treat conservatively rather than racing to the next case.

Many of our team trained and worked in the NHS, and we have huge respect for the work NHS dentists do under tight constraints. Going private just lets us work to a different rhythm: longer appointments, conservative treatment philosophy, and time to actually answer your questions properly.

More time per appointment

New patient exams take a full hour. We're not racing the clock to fit you in.

Premium materials only

We only use the most premium materials in every treatment. The result lasts longer and looks more natural than budget alternatives.

Conservative philosophy

The minimum necessary to achieve the best long-term outcome. No upsells, no pressure.

Private doesn't have to mean expensive. Our Membership Plan starts at £18.60 per month, and we offer 0% finance via Tabeo on most treatments over £350.

Healthy gums, healthy mouth

Gum disease is the most common cause of adult tooth loss in the UK, and it's almost always preventable when caught early. Most people don't know they have it until it's well established, because the early stages don't hurt.

At 360, gum health is treated as a foundation. Every routine examination includes a check of your gum line, and our hygiene team is trained to spot the early signs (bleeding when you brush, slight gum recession, mild bone loss on X-rays) long before they become a problem.

For patients with established gum disease, we offer deep cleaning (subgingival debridement), oral hygiene coaching, and an ongoing maintenance schedule designed to stop the disease progressing. More complex cases are referred to a specialist periodontist where appropriate.

A dedicated guide to gum health is on the way. In the meantime, ask about gum health at your next examination, or book a hygiene appointment directly.

Signs to look out for

  • Bleeding when you brush or floss
  • Persistent bad breath
  • Receding gums or longer-looking teeth
  • Loose teeth or change in bite
  • Tender, swollen, or red gums

If you have any of these, book an examination sooner rather than later. The earlier we treat it, the simpler the treatment.

Anxious about the dentist? We get it.

Dental anxiety is incredibly common, and most of our most nervous patients tell us at the end of their first visit that they wish they'd come sooner. The fear is real, but so is the relief that follows once you find a practice that genuinely takes it seriously.

We don't rush you. We don't surprise you. And we don't make you feel awkward about being nervous. Whether it's a bad past experience, a fear of needles, the sound of the drill, or just a general unease about being in the chair, our team adapts the experience around you.

For more severe anxiety, we discuss sedation options with you at your initial consultation, including referral to a specialist where appropriate.

A detailed guide to overcoming dental anxiety is on the way. For now, mention you're nervous when you book and we'll plan the appointment around it.

How we adapt the visit

  • Longer appointment slots, never rushed
  • Clear explanation of every step before we start
  • Video glasses to watch Netflix during treatment
  • Aromatherapy in the practice rather than dental smells
  • Agreed stop signals so you stay in control
  • Sedation options for more severe anxiety

Tell us you're nervous when you book. We'll do the rest.

The everyday dentistry you might need

From a small filling to a full denture. Plain explanations of the most common general dentistry treatments, and when each is the right answer.

Tooth-coloured fillings

Tooth-coloured fillings

A composite resin filling that matches the natural shade of your tooth. Used to repair decay, small chips, or to replace old metal fillings.

When you might need one: small cavity, a chip on a tooth edge, or replacing an old amalgam filling.

Root canal treatment

Root canal treatment

When the nerve inside a tooth becomes infected or inflamed, root canal treatment clears the infection and saves the tooth. Modern techniques and anaesthetic mean it's a comfortable appointment rather than the ordeal of older days.

When you might need one: persistent toothache, sensitivity that lingers after hot or cold, or an abscess.

Porcelain crowns

Porcelain crowns

A porcelain cap that covers a damaged or heavily restored tooth, restoring its shape, strength, and natural appearance. Made in a dental lab to your tooth's exact specifications.

When you might need one: after a root canal, on a heavily filled tooth, or to repair a broken tooth that's too damaged for a filling.

Porcelain bridges

Porcelain bridges

A fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth. The bridge anchors to the natural teeth on either side of the gap, with a porcelain false tooth (or teeth) in between.

When you might need one: a single missing tooth, or where dental implants aren't suitable.

Adhesive bridges

Other bridge types

Where a traditional bridge isn't appropriate, alternative designs can work. Adhesive bridges (sometimes called Maryland bridges) bond to the back of an adjacent tooth without needing to crown it, preserving more of the natural tooth structure.

When you might need one: a missing front tooth where the neighbouring teeth are healthy and you want a less invasive option than a traditional bridge.

Dentures

Dentures

Removable replacements for missing teeth. Modern dentures are lighter, better-fitting, and more natural-looking than older designs. Available as partial dentures (filling gaps in an existing set) or full dentures.

When you might need one: multiple missing teeth where implants or bridges aren't the right answer, or as an interim solution while planning a longer-term restoration.

Not sure which one applies? A new patient exam includes a full assessment and a written treatment plan, so you know exactly what's recommended and why.

General dentistry fees

Indicative starting prices for the most common treatments. Final pricing depends on what's actually needed and is always discussed and agreed in writing before treatment begins.

Dental health FAQs

Six months is the conventional answer and works well for most people. Some patients benefit from more frequent visits (especially if there's a history of gum disease or decay), and a few can safely extend to twelve months. We'll recommend the right interval for you based on your specific dental health, not a one-size-fits-all rule.

Yes, we welcome new private patients. The simplest way to get started is to book a new patient examination through the form below or by calling us on 0161 834 1000. We'll allow plenty of time to do a thorough first appointment and answer any questions about transitioning your care.

A thorough exam of your teeth, gums, and soft tissues. We use digital x-rays and intraoral photos so you can see exactly what we see. We screen for oral cancer at every visit. We'll talk through anything we find, what (if anything) needs attention, and your options. You leave with a clear written summary and any recommendations.

Yes, and we're particularly good at it. Many of our long-standing patients describe themselves as having been terrified of the dentist before they came to us. Our approach is unhurried, gentle, and explanatory. We can also offer sedation for patients who need it. The nervous patients page has more detail.

Yes. Existing patients can usually be seen the same day for genuine emergencies. New patients are usually seen within 24 to 48 hours. Call 0161 834 1000 as early in the day as possible.

★★★★★

"I cannot recommend 360 Dental Care highly enough. Ever since my first appointment, the assessment, treatment plan, explanation of what would be done, quality of work and advice given has been of the highest level. All of the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The clinic is very modern and always impeccably clean.

After many visits for treatment and follow-ups the same high levels of service are always maintained."

★★★★★

"I recently received treatment from Dr Stewart Mclean. I'm a nervous patient after some previous bad experiences at other practices. I'd had two failed fillings in one tooth and was informed by my previous dentist that I'd need a root canal or extraction instead. I booked a consultation with Stewart through a recommendation from a friend. I was glad I did as he was so kind and talked me through everything helping me feel at ease. He booked me in for a replacement filling and on the day walked me through the procedure with minimal discomfort and made me feel as relaxed as I could be.

Two weeks on I feel confident saying my tooth is pain free for the first time since October last year. Getting to save my tooth and find a lovely new dentist has made me so happy. I'd definitely recommend Stewart and his practice."

★★★★★

I am more than happy with my results would strongly recommend. 10/10 thank you guys"

"My experience after more than one year, with normal routine visit, cleaning and one dental implant was amazing. Alejandra did an excellent job. All the team is friendly and very professional. I recommended it to my girlfriend and my friends which they joined as well and are very happy!"

★★★★★

"I have been to 360dentacare 3 times now for treatment and each time I have found the manner in which they conduct themselves very friendly, professional, and welcoming. I would highly recommend this practice as I have found all my dealings with them a pleasure."
