No. The whole approach is conservative. We'd rather under-treat and add more later than over-treat. Most people who know you well won't be able to tell exactly what's changed, just that you look rested and well. If you want a more dramatic result, we'll have an honest conversation about whether that's the right call.
Anti-wrinkle injections feel like tiny pin-pricks and last seconds. Dermal fillers are more involved. We use topical numbing cream, and most fillers contain anaesthetic in the gel itself, so the discomfort is mild and brief. You'll be sitting up for the whole appointment and can stop at any point.
For dermal fillers and lip enhancement, you'll see results immediately, with full settling at around two weeks. Anti-wrinkle injections take 3 to 5 days to start working and 7 to 14 days to reach full effect. Skin boosting works gradually over a course of treatments.
Anti-wrinkle injections last around 3 to 4 months. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and lip enhancement last 6 to 9 months on average, longer in some areas. Skin boosting results last around 6 months from a course of two sessions. Maintenance schedules vary by patient and treatment.
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved within hours using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Anti-wrinkle injections aren't reversible, but they're temporary. The effect simply wears off if you don't like it. We always recommend starting with a conservative dose precisely because of this.
