Dental implants in Manchester. Replace missing teeth with a long-term solution that looks, feels, and functions like a natural tooth. Single implants from £2,600, full mouth options available, three experienced implant clinicians, and one of the most respected implant systems in dentistry.
A dental implant is a small titanium or zirconia post placed into your jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Once placed, the bone grows around it and a custom-made crown or bridge is attached on top. The result looks, feels and functions like a natural tooth.
A single implant supports a single porcelain crown. Most common, most straightforward.
Two or more implants supporting a fixed bridge. Fewer implants than missing teeth thanks to clever bridge design.
A full implant-retained denture or fixed bridge replaces an entire arch of teeth. Life-changing for long-term denture wearers.
When choosing an implant dentist, ask to see real cases not stock images. Here's a sample of patients we've treated.
Implant work needs the right hands. At 360, the dentists below place implants regularly, with combined experience spanning more than 40 years and including expert oral surgery training.
Implant dentistry runs in Alejandra's family. Her grandfather and father were both dentists, with her father being a respected implant dentist in Spain. She has been placing implants since 2012, holds a Masters Degree in Oral Surgery and Advanced Implantology, and mentors other dentists who are training in implant placement.
Dams worked as an oral surgeon in several hospitals before joining 360. She has extensive expertise in Oral Surgery and has been placing implants since 2007. Alongside titanium implants, Dams also places zirconia implants, having trained at the Biohealth Clinic in Switzerland. She has a calming way with patients that puts even the most anxious at ease.
Jayme is the lead dentist and founder of 360. Implants are often part of a bigger picture: complex rehabilitations, replacing failing veneers and crowns, or restoring a smile after years of dental issues. This is where Jayme excels. Patients often describe him as a problem-solver who finds solutions where others see dead ends.
There are hundreds of dental implant systems on the market. We chose Prama deliberately, for three specific reasons that affect long-term outcomes.
The neck of the Prama implant is designed for the gum to attach directly to it, protecting the bone underneath. Studies show this reduces the rate of peri-implantitis, a gum-disease-like condition around implants and the most common cause of implant failure.
Grade 5 titanium is already the standard in medical implants because it's biocompatible: the body accepts it and the bone fuses with it. Same material grade as orthopaedic implants used in hips and knees.
Prama is certified as "CLEAN" by the Independent Clean Dental Implant Foundation. This independent body verifies the implant surface is free of contamination, which is itself thought to contribute to implant failure. Not all implants carry this certification.
More on the Clean Implant Foundation →Why this matters: implant systems are an area where most patients can't see the difference. We could choose a cheaper system and you'd never know. We use Prama because the long-term failure data is materially better, and an implant is meant to last decades.
Most patients fall into one of these three scenarios. Your free smile report will recommend the right approach for your specific situation.
Replacing one missing tooth with one implant and a porcelain crown
The most common case. A clean, predictable solution that looks and feels like the tooth it replaced.
Replacing two or more missing teeth using fewer implants than teeth, supporting a bridge
Bridge design lets us replace more teeth than implants. The simplest case is one implant supporting two teeth (one crown plus one pontic). Each additional pontic on the same structure is £500.
Replacing all teeth in the upper or lower jaw, either as a secure denture or a fixed bridge
Two ways to do this: a clip-on secure denture (from £5,000, 2 to 4 implants) or a permanent fixed bridge (from £15,509, 6 to 8 implants). The next section explains the difference.
If you're replacing all the teeth in one jaw, this is the most important decision you'll make. Both attach to implants. They differ in how permanent the result is, how it feels day to day, and how much it costs.

| Secure Denture | Fixed Bridge | |
|---|---|---|
| How it attaches | Clips onto 2 to 4 implants, removable by you for cleaning | Permanently fixed to 6 to 8 implants, stays in place |
| Comes out at night? | Yes, you remove it daily | No, it stays in your mouth permanently |
| Feel in the mouth | Solid, no slipping, but you can feel the appliance | Closest feel to natural teeth |
| Implants needed | 2 to 4 | 6 to 8 |
| Cleaning | Take out and clean like a regular denture | Brush and floss like natural teeth |
| Bone preservation | Good, much better than a regular denture | Excellent |
| Best for | Anyone who currently wears a loose denture | Patients who want a permanent solution that feels natural |
| Cost | From £5,000 | From £15,509 |
Our recommendation: if you've been wearing a loose denture for years, a secure denture is genuinely life-changing and is the option most patients choose. A fixed bridge is the gold standard if budget allows and you want a result indistinguishable from natural teeth. We'll talk both options through fully at your assessment.
Most cases take 3 to 4 months from first appointment to final restoration. Here's what happens at each stage.
A friendly conversation about what's going on, what you want to achieve, and which options might fit. About 30 minutes, no obligation.
A 3D CT scan of your jaw shows exactly where the bone is, where the nerves are, and where each implant should go. Your treatment plan is built around this scan.
You receive a detailed written plan with itemised fees and finance options. Nothing happens until you've had time to consider and consent.
The implant is placed under local anaesthetic in a comfortable, calm setting. Most patients are surprised by how straightforward the surgery itself is.
The implant fuses with your jawbone over 3 to 4 months. Once healed, the final crown, bridge, or denture is fitted and you walk out with your finished smile.
"My experience after more than one year, with normal routine visit, cleaning and one dental implant was amazing. Alejandra did an excellent job. All the team is friendly and very professional. I recommended it to my girlfriend and my friends which they joined as well and are very happy!"
"Perfect Unfortunately I’ve been poorly and had many metal tubes put down my throat and my front teeth became very loose. I was advised I needed 5 implants straight away, decided to have a second opinion from 360 and after having scans I was told there wasn’t anything wrong with my teeth roots and only needed coating I decided to whiten my teeth and have caulking work to fill gaps, a metal strengthening strip behind front teeth, bottom teeth coated too and back teeth built up to take the strain off my front teeth.
That’s the dental work but the moment you open 360 practice door and enter with Liz smiling at you and offering a tea or coffee any worries you may of have, drift away. All work needed is explained, simply and prices are clear no hidden costs. If you’re someone who ‘hates’ the clinical smell of dentist’s there isn’t one. Jayme is so knowledgeable and caring, saved me months of work and so much money I can’t recommend him and his team highly enough."
"Absolutely love the outcome of my smile. Thank you to the lovely team, after many years fearing the dentist, I was at ease here! Always a warm welcome from Kayla at reception, Hayley was lovely, Alejandra made my dental implants quick and relaxing, and overall huge thank you to Jayme. From the start Jayme has known my fear with dentists but made sure every visit I was relaxed and talked me through everything, and now I have a smile I absolutely love!
Thank you all again."

The procedure itself is performed under local anaesthetic so you don't feel pain during surgery. Most patients are surprised by how straightforward the placement is. Afterwards there's typically some swelling and mild discomfort for a few days, easily managed with standard pain relief. The vast majority of patients return to normal activity the next day.
With good oral hygiene and regular check-ups, dental implants are one of the longest-lasting tooth replacements available. Studies show success rates of over 95% at 10 years and many implants last 20 years or more. The crown or bridge attached to the implant may need replacing eventually (typically after 10 to 15 years), but the implant itself usually doesn't.
Most adults in good general health are suitable. The main factors we assess are bone volume in the jaw (sometimes a bone graft is needed first), gum health (we'll treat any gum disease before implant placement), and overall medical history. Smoking and uncontrolled diabetes both increase failure risk and we'll talk through any concerns at your consultation. Most "borderline" cases are still possible with the right planning.
Typically 3 to 4 months from start to finish for a standard case. The longest part is the healing phase (osseointegration), where your bone fuses to the implant. This needs 2 to 3 months and isn't something that can be rushed without compromising long-term success. Complex cases involving bone grafts or full-arch reconstruction can take 6 to 9 months.
There are hundreds of implant systems and many of them work well. We chose Prama by Sweden & Martina for three reasons: the gum-attaching neck reduces peri-implantitis (the most common cause of long-term failure), the grade 5 titanium is the same medical-grade material used in hip and knee replacements, and Prama carries CLEAN certification from the Independent Clean Dental Implant Foundation, which verifies the implant surface is free of contamination. The detailed comparison is in the Prama section above.
Titanium is the established standard for dental implants and what most patients receive. Zirconia is a newer ceramic alternative, sometimes preferred for its tooth-coloured appearance (helpful in thin gums where a metal post might show through) or for patients who prefer a metal-free option. Dr Dharmista Adams trained at the Biohealth Clinic in Switzerland in zirconia placement and we offer both materials. We'll recommend whichever is right for your specific situation.
Yes, and it's one of the most common reasons patients come to us. Long-term denture wearers often have some bone loss in the jaw, which can affect implant placement. We'll take a 3D CT scan first to see exactly what bone is there. If there isn't enough, a bone graft may be needed before implant placement, which adds time but is very routine. The transition from a loose denture to an implant-retained solution is genuinely life-changing for most patients.
Implants preserve your jawbone (because the bone has something to attach to and stay healthy around). They don't rely on adjacent teeth for support, so the neighbouring teeth stay untouched. They feel and function like natural teeth. They last decades rather than the 5 to 10 years a typical bridge or denture lasts. The trade-off is a higher upfront cost and a longer treatment timeline, but the long-term value is usually significantly better.
Almost never. The NHS only funds implants in very rare medical cases (for example, after oral cancer surgery) and the threshold is high. For most people, dental implants are a private treatment. We're a private practice and offer 0% finance over 12 months via Tabeo, plus longer-term finance at 9.9% APR over 3 to 5 years to spread the cost.
We're based on Southern Street in central Manchester (M3 4NJ), three minutes from Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop and Deansgate rail station. Patients travel in for dental implants from across Manchester, Salford, Trafford, Stockport, Altrincham, and the wider Cheshire commuter belt. We have implant patients who travel from across the UK and abroad. Implant treatment is a journey of several visits over months, but the visits themselves are spaced and manageable.
